This Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) based anger management program is to assist participants with defining and identifying natural and parasitic anger. For most, parasitic anger is the reason you have been court ordered to complete this program or in doing some self-reflection, you may have recognized parasitic anger is harming your personal and possibly your professional relationships as well.

Learning about the CBT (Cognitive Behavior Therapy) process and implementing principles of this empirical framework will enhance your responses to life’s experiences. Cognitive means thought or thought process. Participants will be asked to do some self-reflection which will assist with learning to slow down the process of thinking, feeling, and acting/doing. From years of facilitating CBT educational groups, we have observed many participants are not aware of how their thoughts and feelings impact what they do or say. This educational program will assist participants in gaining self-awareness. Self-awareness, if the participant is willing to use the new tools and skills learned, will enable the process of change will begin.

Group Structure: 1.5 hours per week for 8 weeks / 12 hours total / Cannot miss more than 2 groups.

Curriculum: Will be provided during intake.

Cost: $200 (Minimum of $75 due at the time of intake, $25 per week for 5 weeks)
